Her Meg

So It's done... Took me what seemed like forever. This is a picture of Meg Ryan for my wife and best friend, Lisa... I thought it was about time I did something she would like. She is the only one who loves me enough to put up with me. It's not easy at times.

One of her favourite Meg movies is "When a Man Loves a Woman" (1994) The tagline for that film was "Through the good times. Through the bad times. When a Man Loves a Woman it's for all times". Cheesy but true in my case.

So I used the usual implements, HB, 2B, 3B, 4B, and 5B pencils. It's 10.75 inches wide X 7.25 tall on 110 lb paper. I used toilet paper and paper stumps to blend and lots of erasers for the hair... You can refer to my last submission to see it as a work in progress and in my scraps to see it at 50%.

If you are wondering about her left eye... She has a problem with it that she tries to hide. I thought about fixing it, but in the end went with what was in the photo.

As some of you know it's my last celeb for a while. I plan on doing my own work next.

In the past I have added song lyrics to help you understand the meaning or how I felt about the subject. This time I have used an old poem I wrote that I think fits...
